Kx announced yesterday that the 32-bit version of kdb+ is now freely available for commercial use - download from http://kx.com/software-download.php. This 32-bit version is identical to the previous 32-bit trial version, except there is no longer an expiry, and it does not timeout.

kdb+tick is also now freely available from code.kx.com, the Kx developer wiki, http://code.kx.com/wiki/Startingkdbplus/tick

Support for these free versions is via the kdb+ user community on the google group (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/personal-kdbplus)
