Accessing KDB from VBA - ADO with KDB+/qodbc.dll in VBA

I can successfully run queries against a number of different KDB databases using KDB+ ODBC drivers from Excel.

However, if I create a second connection that connection will not work and point to the first KDB server.  The issue is described in StackOverflow issue below:
