# count can use the ulimit file quota?

Hi,

We run count on partitioned tables to prevent 'noupdate in reval as suggested here:&nbsp;https://code.kx.com/q/kb/partition/#table-counts

The process crashes with “File size limit exceeded” at count when we use zero ulimit -f quota but proceeds with a higher figure. (It is count, when we remove it we have no crash.)
