Embedding Dashboards in web applications

We have a client request to investigate the possibility of embedding dashboards (Dashboard Direct dashboards) into web applications and Grafana(?).

Aside from iframe embeds, what considerations are there to supporting this? Is the only requirement to have a dashboard hosted on a public accessible domain? Streaming services and dashboard interactions (filters) should still work okay???

Are there authentication issues to consider? For example, is it just the general dashboard access to consider, or do all the connections the dashboard uses also have to be shareable in that domain?

Hey Declan,

A main consideration here is likely around licensing and usage. Each license of dashboard direct will come with a set number of concurrent users and if they do not have a licenses then dashboards are limited to 5 concurrent users.
