All,I am looking at Using KX / KDB for a significiant amount of data, andam interested in views and comments about the best way ofconfiguration on storage from both back end array and file systemlayout / volume management but want the thing to perform.Due to the large amount of disk requirement we want to use SATAtechnology within a centralised storage arrayWe are looking at a logical quantity of disk - some 48TB of disk(usable)We will be using non-blocking SAN switchesLooking at using centralised storage arrayLooking at using dedicated spindles (in this case 48 to 64 dedicatedspindles)A large amount of cache will be in the centralised array, however itis a shared piece of infrastructureAny ideas / thoughts around the above would be muchly appreciated.Many thanks,Stuart.
