Iverson College is a residential event for array programmers: kdb+, J and APL. We are implementors and developers, experienced and new. For a week we live as an extended family, We bring our work, we do it and we share it.

Think of it as an extended houseparty. Your regular work will probably slow down to about half speed because of the time you spend talking to colleagues, but the ideas and the conversations will stay with you all year.

This is a private event: I’ve been running it since 2011 and participation is by invitation only. There are never enough places for all the people who should be there.

But this year we can expand on what we did two years ago. For the weekend of 6-7 October we have room for sixteen guests. There’s a bunkhouse, a barbecue, and the company of some of the top people in your field. Grab a sleeping bag, your laptop and a train from London Liverpool St station.

If you’re interested , look at iversoncollege.com for more information, who has been before and what they’ve got from it.

If you’d like an invitation , either for the week or the weekend, write to me at sjt@5jt.com

Best
