I’m looking in to Kx Analyst as an IDE and a few of our users have begun to it, and will be collating a few feature requests in this thread. Please can these be assessed and considered as improvements to the IDE?

-
A Linux-like SIGINT function for the Windows instance of KX Analyst, so queries can be cancelled. Use case example being if I run a query against a busy HDB, I am locked out all my scratch pads entirely until this completes when ideally I’d like to be able to cancel the query and connect to another HDB
-
Ability to open multiple Kx Analyst sessions on a single machine (eg iteration of the port defined on creation)
-
Integration with git bash; when cloning a repo via Analyst, git bash doesn’t recognize the repo location and vice versa. Plus believe not all of the “git bash” commands are covered in the Analyst UI.

- Add configurable “folders” to the Connection Manager, so that a user might more easily sort their connections (eg splitting regions and environments)

Sorting columns by clicking the column header does not work on Inspect tab. 2 distinct bugs:
-
When opening as a new window (ctrl+i), sort (double click) works once for descending but then subsequent sorts do nothing - would expect it to go to ascending, and then back to original order.
-
When opening as a tab in same window (ctrl+shift+i), sort does not work at all - seems to try to run the original data request instead of sorting the variable which has been defined
-
An additional feature request for Inspect tab (ctrl+shift+i) would be an option for subsequent "inspect"s to go to the same tab, instead of opening a new tab each time.

Is there a chance of a non-browser based version of the API? Users (including myself) are finding the clashes with Google Chrome shortcuts to be frustrating at best.
Thanks
