Computer freezes as soon as I launch KX sandbox.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with our Sandbox!

Does this occur when you hit the 'Launch KX Sandbox' button on the academy or when you try to launch KX Developer?

Can you provide me a screenshot of your screen when this issue occurs?

Hi Megan,

Thanks for your reply. Well, this happens a few minutes after I launch the sandbox from the academy's webpage. The computer freezes completely and becomes irresponsive and I have to turn it off using the power button. I have never had a similar issue before, and it is not a bad computer. Also, I tried using Edge instead of Chrome, which what I was using before, and I still got the same problem.

@Mohamed This is very odd and something we haven't been able to recreate.

What should happen upon clicking the "Launch KX Sandbox" link is a new tab will open with this link below, this link has a redirect to pull a git repo into a fully cloud hosted (on our side) environment so wouldn't expect it to cause much load on your side.


Can you let us know what happens when you try open this link below so we can better assist?

I still get the same problem. Basically what happens is that the computer freezes a few minutes into launching Sandbox, regardless on the link. I tried launching it on the safe mood, and it worked perfectly fine. For some reason, something on my computer clashes with Sandbox.
