.ds_store and partitioned table in mac os

Hi,

I partitioned a table to later load as hdb. but when start hdb with “./m32/q tablename”. it will complaint about Mac OS’s auto generated .DS_store files. I delete them then it works fine but those files will come back. Any experience to avoid these?

to avoid creating them over network connections:

on the local machine they only seem to get created if you browse the directories with Finder - not if you’re using Terminal
