Fundamentals Capstone Project Exercise 1.1

Hello,

I am looking for some help, I had all but finished the task then I had to take a break then when i came back to the task i had to reload this meant that the tables that had been loaded and created were no longer stored so i went to readd them however when running the task 1.1 with the code,

system "l ",getenv[`HOME],"/fundamentals_capstone_dbs/"

there is now an error that will not let me retrieve the tables. The error message reads,

./edgeQtyPerMinute

I am confused as to why this has happened and appreciate any help, I have tried restarting and logging out and resetting it but the error persists.

Hi ,

Can you send a print screen of the error you are getting?

Thanks,

Megan

Hello, this is exactly what it looks like,

I assumed it had something to do with one of the later tasks but I have now restarted everything and it was still happening so I wasn’t sure what else to do.

Thanks in advance,

?

Thanks . I suggest running “tables” and if anything is returned do “delete from `.”

then try starting again.

Let me know if this works !

Megan

Hello,

Thanks for the reply, I gave that a go there were a few tables so I deleted them and then reran the first line of code and the same error occurred so it seems that is not the problem.

Any other ideas would be appreciated?

I am a bit confused with this.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi,

Have you tried the following steps?

(Make sure to save and download your files before to prevent loses)

  1. Shut down Developer browser windows

  2. File -> Hub Control Panel -> Stop My Server

  3. Start my server

  4. Retrying the steps in the README

Thanks,

Megan

Hello again,

Yes I have now tried that and I am still receiving the same error weirdly.

Hi,

Can you confirm the directory in the terminal from where you ran the setup.sh script? Also can you confirm the workspace you’re in on developer?

Thanks,

Megan

Yes no problem I have checked in the terminal and this is the directory

jovyan@jupyter-danritch299-40gmail-2ecom:~/course-fundamentals-capstone$ (from the terminal)

and from the developer, this is the workspace,

Thanks again,

Dan
