I am behind a proxy and am trying to connect to IEX which is a https site.
Both https_proxy and OpenSSL are setup on my agoyal machine
wget allows me to connect to api.iextrading.com via the https_proxy (albeit via --no-check-certificate)
$wget --no-check-certificate ‘https://api.iextrading.com/1.0/stock/market/batch?symbols=aapl,googl,amzn,fb&types=quote,stats&filter=peRatio,EBITDA’ -O foo.json
What is the proper way to connect to the https IEX website?
