Is there a way to run the sandbox notebooks locally?

I’ve been trying to get into the sandbox, but all the slots on the server are taken.

Is it possible to download the files used by the sandbox and run them on a local Jupyter install?

What sandbox are you trying to access? One on the academy or KDB.AI?
