I don’t see anything mentioned either on this group or on code.kx.com,
but are kdb data files compressed, and if not, is it possible to do
so? A number of column databases perform compression so I was just
wondering whether kdb does the same.

Hello Victor,In the latest test version 2.7t this feature is now available.
