q.exe not working since download

Dear All,

Greetings!

I just downloaded the q.exe (32 bit) file from http://kx.com/. But when I am opening it by double clicking it is not opening. Please help.

Maybe your directory structure is not correct. Check setup details on following pages:

Normally setup the  q folder at c:\q (windows) or ~/q (Linux), otherwise you must set the QHOME environment variable to that path.

Open the readme.txt file present in the same folder and follow the process as mentioned there.
