I hope one day to see the last reference to the q gods.
The expression arose, I think, from humble awe at the simplicity, brevity and efficiency of some q solutions. Much like Jack Nicholsons Joker marvelled at Batman: Where does he get those wonderful toys? How do those guys see such solutions?
Calling them gods honours the skill but locates it beyond our reach. We are but mortals.
Im here to say thinking in vectors is not reserved to deities. It is a learnable skill. Like any language, q yields to study and practice. And this is where we shall learn fluent vector. You have come to the right place!
