TorQ Gateway can be standalone?

Hi, 
Can the gateway process in the TorQ framework be used on it’s own without the other (eg ticker plant) functionality. 
I guess at a minimum it also needs the discovery service fired up.

Hi John

Yes that should be fine. I believe there are a few installations that run the TorQ gateway only.  You can use it with the discovery service (which will make it more dynamic - the gateway will be notified of new processes) or you can run it from a static connections file, or manually create connections.  You can also specify non TorQ processes to connect to in a separate file which makes them look like TorQ processes (this was from a user request who wanted to integrate a new TorQ environment with a pre-existing production set up).
