I has unzip window.zip after , that followed instruction from readme.txt   to change for q drive but nothing is happening .. Just black screen appering and disappears again…Pl help

Hi,

After unzipping to c:\q, did you “open a command prompt window”?

To do this, run cmd (type <windows-key+R> then enter cmd and OK)

you’ll get a prompt like:

c:\Users\shrinkant>

enter “cd \q”

c:\Users\shrinkant>cd \q

then run “w32\q”

c:\q>w32\q

And now you should be running kdb+

Thanks Jack . its my mistake that QHOME not set correctly pointing to  folder  where I unzipped files.
