FYI… When you download the trial version for Windows, the file(called windows.zip) has an internal structure that includes at thetopmost level a folder called Windows. Following the readme.txtinstructions, when you unzip the file to the root directory (e.g. C:), it starts messing with your real Windows directory, and in fact, that’s not where the software wants to be set up at all.Instead, if you unzip it to a temporary directory and then move thecontents of the resulting Windows subdirectory (including the w32folder and the various other files) to a new folder called q (e.g. C:\q), then q.exe finds everything it needs where it wants it to be.Am I the only one who was initially stumped by this? Perhaps someonecan pass this along to the appropriate party who can fix this… ?Thanks!
thanks, we’ll fix that
